ESC Premier Soccer

ESC Premier is Eaton Soccer Club’s competitive soccer program for players ready to advance beyond recreational play and compete at a higher level.

Designed for dedicated athletes, Premier provides a structured, challenging environment focused on developing technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall performance—while continuing to build confidence, teamwork, and love for the game.

Teams compete in the Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association (MVYSA), a select league serving players across the Dayton and surrounding regions.

What to Expect

Season Structure

  • Fall Season: August – October
  • Spring Season: March – June
  • ~8 league games per season
  • Optional tournaments throughout the year

Practices

  • Typically 2 practices per week
  • Held at Seven Mile Park in Eaton
  • Additional training sessions may be added

Travel

Teams will travel within approximately 1 hour of Eaton for league play, including Dayton and Cincinnati area clubs.

Age Groups & Format

Premier teams begin as early as U8/U9 and follow standard U.S. Soccer formats:

  • U9–U10: 7v7
  • U11–U12: 9v9
  • U13+: 11v11

Teams are formed based on school grade in accordance with US Soccer.

Tryout Process

All players must attend tryouts to be selected for a Premier team.

  • Tryouts are typically held in late spring
  • No cost to try out
  • Players are evaluated on:
    • Skill level
    • Game awareness
    • Attitude and coachability
  • Notifications are sent shortly after tryouts

Tryouts determine team placement for the full seasonal year (Fall + Spring).
